International Orders

If you are outside the United States or Canada, please do not use this site's shopping cart, use the contact form instead. Please be aware that the only form of payment we accept for international orders is an international bank wire transfer. Currently the added fee for this wire transfer is US$140.00.

Billing

The only cards we accept are MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We do not accept American Express. Moreover, these cards must have a billing address located in the United States or Canada. In the rare event that a card used for an international order is not automatically declined by our payment gateway, we will manually void the authorization and contact you via email about your order. When using a credit card (including for all Internet orders), the billing and shipping addresses must be the same. If you need to ship to a different address, call us instead, to arrange for a bank wire transfer (see notes elsewhere on this page about wire fees).

Your card is not charged until your order is packaged and ready to ship. When you initially place your order, the only activity on your card is just a simple authorization; no funds are actually captured at this stage. We must manually capture the funds once your order is ready to ship.

If a part is out of stock, you will be notified before we begin processing your order. In such cases, if you decide that you would like part of the order to ship before the rest of the order is ready to ship, we may call you to obtain your card information, and convert the order into separate telephone orders (voiding any online authorization on your card).

When your order is ready to ship, you will see a second charge appear for the shipping, handling and insurance costs, as well as any taxes, processing fees, drop-shipping fees or other fees that may apply to a specific order or refund.

Our payment gateway requires one business day for all charges to settle before we can ship your order. For back-ordered parts remaining out of stock for more than a month, the authorization will expire; in these cases the parts and shipping costs will be combined into a single card transaction.

For order totals over $1,000.00, we add a processing fee of 3.5% of the order total (inclusive of parts, shipping/drop-shipping fees, taxes, or any other fees). We also reserve the right to add this processing fee to any refund (full or partial).

We do not accept PayPal.

Shipping

Determining Shipping Cost

When you place your order, no shipping charges are pre-billed. Once your order has been processed and packed, and your shipment has been measured, weighed, and is ready to ship, then shipping, handling and insurance costs will be calculated, and added to your order via the e-commerce software powering this website.

Please note, we only ship via USPS or FedEx (unless shipments are large enough to require truck freight). If your item has to be be drop-shipped from the manufacturer, the manufacturer will determine which shipping provider is used.

Shipping Signature Requirement

All packages shipped require signature confirmation, unless you request otherwise by email after placing your order.

Shipments Within The United States

We offer FedEx Ground/Home and USPS Priority Mail shipping on most items to residential and business addresses within the continental United States. Expedited FedEx shipping is available for an extra charge.

After the order is completely processed, most shipments from our warehouse take one to six business days to arrive at locations within the continental United States. The following map depicts estimated FedEx Ground/Home shipping times from our South Carolina warehouse:

International Shipments

Our shipping rates are based on the item being shipped, destination, class, weight and size. International shipments are subject to further verification or rejection. This process may take up to 30 days depending on the final destination of the shipment. After you place your order, we will send an invoice via email giving you the lowest priced shipping options available.

When we ship to your physical address, quotes can be done DDP or non-DDP quoted. DDP means that all freight, pickup fees, duties, taxes, fuel, surcharges, custom clearances, insurance, handling, added value tax, and delivery fees are prepaid before the shipment leaves the United States.

When we ship to a seaport or airport, all quotes are quoted non-DDP. The standard quote covers freight, fuel, and insurance only. You are responsible for pickup fees, duties, taxes, surcharges, custom clearances, handling and added value tax before it leaves the receiving seaport or airport.

Heavy/Large Freight

We also ship large items, such as crate engines, engine blocks, transmissions, large sheet metal and other freight shipments to pretty much any location in the world. After you place your order, we will attempt to respond back to you before the next business day on the shipping cost. We will send you an invoice via email giving you the lowest priced shipping options available.

Our shipping rates are based on the item being shipped, destination, class, weight and size. We use LTL carriers such as YRC, Southeastern, FedEx Freight, UPS Freight, and/or third-party drop-shipping methods, depending on the specifics of your order. We always use the lowest price between all all of the LTL carriers to save you money.

Note: Buyer is responsible for all freight, duty fees, import taxes, and all other applicable fees charged by the carrier.

If the product category or individual product record you were browsing links to this page, then common carrier LTL truck freight does apply to that item.

Shipping Insurance

Please note, our carriers have advised us that shipping insurance covers only the value of the shipment contents. It does not cover:

  • the cost of shipping/handling
  • the cost of any transaction fees (e.g., international bank wire transfer fees)

Additional Shipping Information

We insure all items that are being shipped. Extra insurance can be purchased for an additional fee. If you decide not to purchase the extra insurance, you may be responsible for part of any loss or damages.

If you receive a damaged item, DO NOT REFUSE OR SHIP IT BACK. Make sure that the delivery company notes problem on the receipt. Then call us so we can start a claim with the carrier on the damaged or missing item(s). If you refuse or send back the damaged or incomplete order, the carrier may not honor the claim, and you may be fully responsible for any loss or damages.

Some parts we sell, such as hazmat and cleaning chemicals, can't be shipped outside the continental United States.

Shipping quotes are only good for 10 days from the date you receive the quote from Bouchillon Performance Engineering.

Returns

We do not accept returns of non-stock, special-order, or custom-made items.

All returns must have a return authorization number before items will be accepted for return. Authorization numbers may be obtained only by calling. NO return authorizations whatsoever will be issued to anyone calling any toll-free Bouchillon Performance telephone number in effect at that time. See our contact page for current phone number(s) and office hours.

  • All freight/handling/insurance must be prepaid.
  • All Authorized Returns are subject to a 10% Restocking and Handling Fee 30 days from Shipping Day for our Warehouse. All Returns after 30 days but before 60days are subject to a 25% Restocking and Handling Fee. Dates are effective from Shipping Day when package leaves our Warehouse till Receiving Day when package is received at our Warehouse.
  • Return Authorization Numbers must be exhibited on the outside of the box. Any Package received without number exhibited Plainly on the outside of package, the package will be refused and returned to sender.
  • Bouchillon Performance will not be responsible for any freight, insurance, or handling charges. Any return received damaged, will returned Freight Collect. All items must be in original packaging, if boxed, box must be in good shape. No Returns on any item that was Blister Paced and has been opened
  • Any item installed or attempted to be installed are non-returnable.
  • NO RETURNS, WHATSOEVER AFTER 60DAYS.
  • All credits will be issued through Bankcard, Check or Credit to Account. No COD's to our Warehouse will be accepted

Damaged Goods

  • All merchandise is thoroughly packed and inspected before leaving our Warehouse. Any damage claims should be made against the carrier as follows.
  • Concealed damage or loss does not become apparent until the merchandise has been packed.
  • The contents may be damaged in transit due to rough handling, even though he package has no visible damage. Make verbal and written request for inspection by carrier's agent, immediately and the file a claim with carrier.
  • Visible Loss or Damage means any external evidence of loss or damage, which must be noted on freight bill or delivery receipt and signed by carrier's agent. Failure to accurately describe external damage or loss may result in the carrier refusing to honor the damage claim.
  • SAVE THE CARTON AND WRAPPING for the claim inspector. Do not return merchandise to US! File your claim with the carrier.

Defective Goods

Even through there is not warranty expressed or implied on performance parts, any item found to be defective, please contact us at 843-744-6559 or 843-744-6539 for return authorization number. Any item return with out authorization number clearly displayed on outside or shipping box will be refused and returned to sender. All items must be shipped freight/handling/insurance paid.

Privacy

Your Personal Information Is Private

Bouchillon Performance Engineering is serious about protecting our customers' personal information. You can always browse our web site without providing any personal information. While doing business with you, we may have to gather certain information, such as your name, home address, phone number, vehicle identification number, and e-mail address. We will not sell, rent, trade or give away individual, personally identifiable information entered on this site to any third party. We collect such information so that we can process orders, personalize your shopping experience, or send you the latest product and other useful material. If you do not wish to receive further material from Bouchillon Performance Engineering, you can simply respond to our e-mail or otherwise tell us that you do not want to receive future communications.

Online Orders

Bouchillon Performance Engineering also collects credit card information from you to process purchases from the site. Reputable third-party financial institutions handle our credit card transactions. Whenever you transmit credit card information and other personal information through our site, the numbers and letters are scrambled using encryption technology, making it nearly impossible for the information to be stolen or intercepted.

Cookies

Bouchillon Performance Engineering, like most Web sites, uses a feature of your browser to set a "cookie" on your computer. We cannot tell your name or any personal information about you based solely on the cookie. Unless you specifically tell us your name and other identifying information, we will never know who you are. All the cookie tells us is what functions you perform when you are on the site so that we can keep track of your transaction. A cookie also helps Bouchillon Performance Engineering note particular traffic patterns on the site so that we can improve what we offer. Every browser allows you to reject cookies or to choose which cookies you will accept. Rejecting cookies, however, may sometimes interfere with your ability to use all the features and benefits of our site.

Third Parties

Bouchillon Performance Engineering doesn't provide non-personal, aggregate information about our users to third parties such as manufacturers and business partners under any circumstance.

Outside Links

Bouchillon Performance Engineering may offer links to other sites. Any time you click on a link and are transported to another site, you should be aware that the other site may have a different privacy policy than Bouchillon Performance Engineering .We cannot control the policies of other sites.
