Engine Must have been equipped with an Alternator since new.

* Will Not Work on LA Style 273/318/340/360 Engine (5 Bolt Valve Covers) or Magnum Small Block Engines
* Designed to Work with 2 Groove Non A/C Factory Crank Pulley
* Bracket Only Works with Sanden 7312 "Shorty" Compressor

Fits:MOST 318 Poly engines that came with an Alternator,1962-1966
IF PASSENGER SIDE FRONT CYLINDER HEAD IS NOT DRILLED FOR ALTERNATOR, THIS BRACKET KIT WILL NOT WORK!
If your Vehicle does not have Power Steering, THIS WILL NOT WORK !
Belt Arrangement:2nd Groove out from 2 groove crank to Inner Groove on A/C Compressor to power steering pump
Inner groove on crank stays aligned with the water pump pulley and alternator.
DAMPER REQUIREMENTS:MUST A-Engine Thin Style Production Damper, similiar to BPEHB318 Damper.
Pulley Requirements: FACTORY PULLEYS, We do not make or offer any crankshaft or water pump pulleys for this application
Alternator Bracket Requirement: Reuse original Alternator Swing Arm Adjustment Bracket
Alternator Requirement: Standard Style Chrysler Single V Groove like BPE5302
Compressor Required: BPE7312 Sanden SD7H "Shorty"
Belt Requirements: BPE9560 BELT A/C or Gates 9560 XL (may vary due to power steering & crankshaft pulley diameter)
NOTE: For Cleaner installation, we recommend mounting the compressor with both suction & discharge ports, pointing towards right side inner fender. Then use a pair of 45 degree fittings (BLA1312-3 & BLA1313-3) at compressor, and route hoses across top of Alternator.
