Low Maintainance Required/Easy Installation
Fits:MOST 318 Poly engines that came with an Alternator,1966 Earlier.
IF PASSENGER SIDE FRONT CYLINDER HEAD IS NOT DRILLED FOR ALTERNATOR, THIS BRACKET KIT WILL NOT WORK!
If your Vehicle does not have Power Steering, THIS WILL NOT WORK !
Belt Arrangement:2nd Groove out from 2 groove crank to Inner Groove on A/C Compressor to power steering pump
Inner groove on crank stays aligned with the water pump pulley and alternator.
DAMPER REQUIREMENTS:MUST A-Engine Thin Style Production Damper, similiar to BPEHB318 Damper.
Pulley Requirements: FACTORY PULLEYS, We do not make or offer any crankshaft or water pump pulleys for this application
Alternator Bracket Requirement: Reuse original Alternator Swing Arm Adjustment Bracket
Alternator Requirement: Standard Style Chrysler Single V Groove like BPE5302
Compressor Required: BPE7312 Sanden SD7H "Shorty"
Belt Requirements: BPE9560 BELT A/C or Gates 9560 XL (may vary due to power steering & crankshaft pulley diameter)
NOTE: For Cleaner installation, we recommend mounting the compressor with both suction & discharge ports, pointing towards right side inner fender. Then use a pair of 45 degree fittings (BLA1312-3 & BLA1313-3) at compressor, and route hoses across top of Alternator.
