 GEN III REAR SUMP STAMPED STEEL OIL PAN KIT W/O VVT. DESIGNED TO WORK WITH SOME A/B/E BODY AFTERMARKET FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEMS ON INSTALLATION OF A 6.1L/5.7L/7.0L NON VVT ENGINES

FITS 2003-2008 5.7L TRUCK AND CAR ENGINES,2005-2010 6.1L ENGINES, AND ALUMINUM BLOCK NON VVT 7.0/426 ENGINES

COMES COMPLETE WITH STAMPED STEEL REAR SUMP OIL PAN, OIL PUMP PICKUP, OIL LEVEL TUBE & OIL LEVEL INDICATOR

NOTE: 1-WORKS ON SOME  ALTERKATION FRONT SUSPENSION AND SOME OTHER AFTERMARKET FRONT SUSPENSIONS

2-MOST APPLICATIONS, REPLACING THE GASKET IS NOT NECESSARY. FACTORY WINDAGE TRAY HAS A PERMA GASKET AFFIXED TO IT. GENERALLY, THOROUGHLY CLEANING OIL RESIDUE FROM WINDAGE TRAY AND OLD SMEAR OF RTV FROM TRAY AND BLOCK IS ALL REQUIRED. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THIN SMEAR OF RTV BACK AT TIMING COVER, AND REAR MAIN SEAL MATING POINTS

3-REAR SUMP PAN IS ONLY 7 3/4" DEEP (SEE ATTACHED ROUGH SKETCH COMPARING FRONT SUMP TO REAR SUMP PANS)

4-FOR 2009-2015 5.7L ENGINES AND 2011-2015 6.4L ENGINES USE 64RSKIT

5-ALWAYS CHECK PAN DEPTH AND OIL PICK CLEARANCE, AND ADJUST IF NOT CORRECT. PICKUP SHOULD BE 1/8" FROM BOTTOM OF OIL PAN

6-USE 61R065AA OIL PAN BOLT SET WHEN REMOVING A CAST ALUMINUM OIL PAN AND REPLACING IT WITH THIS PAN OR ANY OTHER SHEETMETAL OIL PAN. THIS BOLT KIT IS 5 MM SHORTER THAN BOLTS USED ON CAST ALUMINUM PANS.

NOTE: WILL NOTE WORK OR FIT ON 6.2L HELL CAT ENGINES
