Saginaw Big Block Power Steering Pump Conversion Kit

Details:

Finally a Kit that supplies the parts to get rid of that Federal Thompson/TRW/Chrysler Leaking or Failed Power Steering Pump found on many 383, 400, 426 Wedge, & 440 Mopar Equipped Vehicles.

Kit comes complete with New Components, Including a New Keyed Nutted Shaft Saginaw Power Steering Pump Assembly (complete with Pulley Nut, Reservoir, & Filler Cap), Powder Coated  Power Steering Brackets, Big Block Power Steering Pressure & Return Hose with Clamps, Saginaw Keyed Nutted Shaft Power Steering Pump Pulley, Correct Steering Box pressure Fitting. 

Generally, the only item you will need to furnish is Mopar Power Steering Fluid and Drive Belt.

Note: We do not furnish a Drive Belts for the application for many reasons.

1. Belt used on engines that are A/C equipped, can have at least 3 Different Belts, due to routing and crankshaft pulley differences.

2-Belt used on Non A/C Equpped Engines could have a multitude of belt lengths due to crankshaft pulley varied diameter manufactured over the years, and engine size to engine size.

Belt Length on NON A/C using BPE 4012 Crankshaft Pulley & 4014 Water Pump Pulley along with this kit Use#7440 Gates Belt

 Belt Length on Factory or BPE A/C using BPE 4013 Crankshaft Pulley & 4016 Water Pump Pulley along with this kit Use#7465 Gates Belt

3-For 1966 and earlier Steering Boxes with 1/2" or 5/8" Large Return Nipple on Steering Box, you will have to purchase and replace the return nipple assembly with part #2215 (not included), which has a 3/8" Return Nipple. Which is the standard on Mopar Vehicles from 1967 and later.
